Cadete should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The Dakar effort may have some factory backing, as Steve Quandt has several BMW stocks, but it is mainly a privateer effort developed by X-Raid.

Asa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BMW just announced the production of a 120d race car for customer racing. Yes, it runs on diesel.

But I wonder what categories will it run in? It said rallying and endurance events.

pretty sure it was Ralf Shumacher, got caught at 130 or 140 mph I think.

Button certainly got fingered for speeding in France - just can't remember if it was an oil-burner he was driving.

I'm sure it was JB in a diesel "Bimmer" (and it was an estate). He was doing approx 130mph if I recall correctly.
