Why don't they re-introduce F3 Euro Trophy? It's a way to increase the size of the grid. Since the calendar has less non-German rounds, the organizer can invite ATS F3 teams to join the trophy, like Van Amersfoot, HS Technik and Racing Experience.

France is more lacking of peoples to organise events, Pau will not happen in 2010 and Dijon DTM will not happen... I reckon the problem of Euroseries is the DTM itself, DTM struggles to attract spectators out of Germany,DTM at Barcelona was a complete failure . Maybe F3 Euroseries should look at the WTCC Week ends . Regarding the re-introduction of the Euro F3 Trophy i reckon it would not be a bad idea, but German F3 allows teams to test as much as they wish when F3 Euroseries has very limited testing time and Yokohama tyres are performing better than Kumho, that is probably why Germany has still 2 championships of Formula 3. And the drivers? There probably won't be any in F1, and that's the most important series. Of the up-and-coming drivers, only Bianchi has a good chance of making it in the next couple of years. Even Grosjean who drove this year was born in Switzerland. With Renault on the verge of pulling out, it could be that there is no French involvement in F1 next year at all. Compare that to a few years ago when there were so many French drivers filling the ranks, along with Ligier/Prost, Larrousse, and Renault and Peugeot supplying engines All France has right now of any real international significance is Le Mans. If you can't see that French motorsport is in serious trouble at the moment, you're blinkered |

FIA already has the International Formula Masters. Maybe a more powerful formula series like Superleague would help the DTM.

That's terrible indeed. I hope that this new track in Flins-Les Mureaux helps to solve that. About Pau, I would pick for 2011 the GT Sport package (GT Open, ex Euroseries 3000, F3 Open). |

That's bad news for the French motorsport. One of Europe's most populated cities lacks any decent circuit.

This is quite interesting, Merhi is Mercedes driver and he is quite well backed even w/o it, so may be next year there will be change!
I like his way of thinking, if he pulls this out, it will be truly remarkable. |

It doesn't mean anything, with these drivers Muecke line-up seems to be very deep compared to Motopark and Signature line-up. They will have a stronger line-up in GP3 imo.I would see: Hegwald,Christensen,Schelariu |

+Tambay , maybe Cecotto jr. , Guttierez , Rossi, Dean Smith,Huertas...
The are all just waiting for testing to evaluate their options. In fact , many drivers just stayed here for one more season - so the true one who already preferred F3 to GP3 are Pla and Juncandella(if he signs). Motopark boys also dont counts because they also stayed with the team just in another series(like Trummer and Varthaug in gp3). So right now its equal. |

This being my personal opinion, I wouldn't compare the likes of Bottas, Sims, Mehri, Vanthoor, Mortara etc... to drivers like Sechelariu or Tambay who although he was with THE best Team didn't even score 1 point in 2009....
Also regarding the other drivers you mention, Cecotto and Rossi are more likely to do GP2 unless they don't have the budget I guess. I'm not saying that GP3 won't find drivers but just looking at facts: the number of F3 announced or signed drivers compared to GP3 is higher at the moment...unless there are many we don't know about. |

Imo the drivers are just waiting that,if there is no seat at ART,Mucke,Signature or in GP2 they will go to GP3 ,nothing more. Just like last winter with Bruno Senna in GP2. |
