So with talk of how many oddball entries the 25 attracts, an intriguing question enters my head...

What kind of oddball entry would YOU bring to the 25 Hours of Thunderhill if given the opportunity? (assume you had access to whatever you needed to make the idea competitively sound)

I think I'd either tune up a Buick GNX with DTM-style aero(or, more likely, get a generic Regal from the same period and make it a REPLICATION of such a GNX), or build a thoroughly modern high-tech Clubmans-style front-engined prototype(because too few people appreciate those things).

The ginettas were very quick in qualy yesterday. 3 seconds clear of third I think. The wolf is the best sounding car for sure..

Do you know if the Ginettas are racing in P2 configuration?
I have the feeling that it is so for the great lap time.

They might feel that way, but if I were then if feel good about the preparation of their car and it's ability to race 25 hours. The Protos? I'd be questioning the reliability. Except for maybe the DP

This race looks like has become a thriller between the GT3 Audi of Flying Lizard and the LMP3 Ginetta of Rhyno racing. I love a fun interclass fight like this. Its not that frequent that it happens.
