infoscourse.org has the first pictures
The Courage LC70 looks fantastic. I like the mounting of the rear spoiler and the (Audi like) double rollover bar (looks like shark fins). The Radical really rocks. The Oreca Saleen did not get any paint job yet. The Luc Alphand Corvette livery is even worse than the PSI one, so really ugly. |

Belmondo has 2 different Gulf liveries:
http://www.infoscourse.org/2006_LMS/...age_PBR_01.jpg http://www.infoscourse.org/2006_LMS/...age_PBR_02.jpg I prefer the authentic blue and orange (so the first one) It is a pitty that RfH added the yellow to their livery |

bloody hell!!!! the creation hybrid is quick, i understand last year creation did not have a good time at paul ricard and were not really on the pace but goddamn i hope they win this year, the new radical is a really nice looking car as is the new courage LC70's, RFH are a little off the pace in my opinion, i was expecting them to be the fastest or atleast in the top 3 but testing isnt over yet so it remains to be seen who will be the quickest overall

it means that the drivers won't be as good as Courage ones .. although Fassler would be good
and it means it's a privateer, new team .. it won't have the experience of the Factory |

DSC have corrected the circuit information. The chicane was apparently not used last year either (but it was in 2004). Mike Newton compared last years data from the telemetry with this year's and decided the new configuration has added 5.1 seconds to their laptimes.

Of the more important news being reported by DSC ( ); two of the Chamberlain drivers were late on parade this morning having failed to put their clocks forward. And Creation's Andy Woolgar apparently got trapped in the 'Gents' for half an hour this morning.

I got stuck in a toilet in a pit garage at silvestone once. Took a bit of metal bending to get out. I had some pity for the chap that went in after me and slammed the door. Guess he's still there

A few more questions answered thanks to Daily Sportscar:
The Lister was suffering a misfire this morning, so they are doing an engine change which will be completed this evening. Rollcentre have suffered a "programming glitch" with the gearchange, and a vibration (from the floor). But generally Martin is very upbeat about the car. Problems with the left rear wheel and a stiff manual gearchange have hampered the Swiss Spirit team. Pneumatic gearshift being fitted tonight and tomorrow should see the car up to speed. |
