I think that's it when it comes to Sutton's chances for the title. Shame but it never really looked like it this year. Think it's going to be pretty close between Hill and Ingram especially considering that next round is at Silverstone where Ingram should be really fast.
Btw, how refreshing it was not to hear anything about these ridiculous tyre choices this weekend. More of that please. |

You could see from half a lap back that it was going to end up with Chilton nailing Sutton.

What a fantastic race 3 , one of Tingrams best drives - up there with Silverstone last year when he came from the back with Ash and looked like he was in a different series.
Got to give massive credit to Taylor-Smith too , whatever work PMR are doing on the oldest cars on the grid is clearly working - if this is the last year of the Astra it's going out in style. |

Yeah, obviously, there are lots of things that can still happen - 120 points still to grab (plus all the bonus ones) so not only Ash but also Turkington, Cammish and Cook are still within the title fight. Looking realistically, however, Ingram and Hill have been half a step ahead all year - unless NAPA can unlock some extra potential out of their car, I just can't see Sutton winning the title - as sad as I am to admit it.
Ingram's drive in R3 was brilliant btw. |

If anyone turned off before the last Mini race, was Mini racing at its best so well worth watching back. About 8 in the lead battle all race.

There's not many on the grid that could produce a drive like Ingram just did there in them conditions after what happened in race 2. Great to watch.

Was it Chilton (yet again) who was the cause of Sutton's woes in R3?

Absolutely baffles me that people think being -20 points back with 6 races left means your out of it. For sure he wouldn’t be the favourite but that lead can evaporate very quickly if things fall his way. If he repeats his results from today at Silverstone then he’ll be right back in it regardless of what results the other can get. I wouldn’t even rule him out if he went to the final with a 20 point deficit.

Rowbottom should have been defending (or trying too) Ash at that point. There does'nt seem to be much or any at all Teamwork, being done at NAPA ??. |

No, it was a static display only. Best race of the day by far! Shame about the crash which postponed it in the first place though, that was nasty. |
