If it happens and if planes are flying (two big ifs), I'll be there.

Well the Belgium government has decided no mass gatherings until the end of August so looks like Spa round not happening in August. Time to get a refund i think

Typically Belgium: what is considered a "Mass event" still has to be decided. Football matches for instance, are not yet definitely off the cards, so this race isn't either. Although the chances are slim to nil it will go through, cancellation is not yet completely certain!

So mass event? The committee in Belgium will sit around for several days eating chocolate drinking beer and after 3 days they will have been unable to agree what language to hold the discussions in so agree to meet again as soon as they have spend the expenses they managed to agree in the first meeting, the next meeting will of course be held in the Seychelles to get round the social distancing problems they had with the first meeting, of course to ensure that those attending the meeting will not have their families put at a disadvantage it was agreed no more than 15 members of each attendees families would qualify to fly out and stay in the seychelles with them during the 2 weeks of further discussions.

To be fair it’s a pretty loose term that rather depends on context:

We got the email from Spa today saying race would be held behind closed doors and offering us either refund or transfer to race in April/May, they asked us if possible not to chose a refund but to transfer to next year, and as we got them on the 2 for 1 offer that is what we will do.
