Of course, it would. It's all about marketing, and what you can do for the sponsors' brand recognition.

Lowndes is a household name. Whincup, sadly, isn't. At least, not yet. I s'pose that this also begs the question - how many race drivers out there that could be considered as "household names"?

Greg Murphy household name, atleast in NZ, Holden have their marketing tool for NZ right there, Nose no matter how good or bad he is going is a household name and is Holdens Aus marketing tool, so why buy Craig as good as he is back unless Nose is retiring.
