Some spots? They have 39 cars for 2016

I think you mean the Euroseries F3.

I mean the former spanish F3 championship. Unless i have missed they massively upgraded their car counts this offseason (last year they had in the 20s as car counts).
This is also a much cheaper championship then the euroseries f3. Not sure if it's similar to FR alps though.

Argentine F. Renault is one of the few non-canonic F. Renaults, as is using the tubular chassis Tito 02, with reworked fiberglass over the mould.

Main teams Werner and Litoral will persist, albeit last one has interest in the minor TC2000 series, too. JLS is another team to watch, being the last one that made its own chassis, despite not allowed to race in the one-make Argentine F. Renault.

The rest of teams are minor ones, even personal efforts. Unfortunately, only 18 to 20 of the almost 30 Tito 02 chassis are used, then there are still fills to gap in a minnowed F. Renault, that some fans misses the times where the series had almost 40 entries per round as it were with the Crespi Tulia XXV cars.

It seems that the organisers have changed the regulations about the entries. Firstly, they allowed the teams to enter 2 to 4 cars. But now, they will allow to enter a single one. It can be a help for small teams. Maybe it's the situation of Cram.

On other side, that 4rt tech1 seat could be for a driver coming from an upper category, we'll see.

JD Motorsport confirmed that Alexey Korneev will compete in the Eurocup & NEC. Hopefully James Allen will do the same.

It seems like almost everybody (with enough money) will do Eurocup & NEC. The NEC will become the Eurocup2, they will race in very good weekends and on all (except 1) F1 tracks.

i agree. it can only be a good thing when the formula is in direct competition with f4 for drivers too.

nec had a cracking calendar last year, it's a shame they lost the red bull ring but the hungaroring is a good replacement. the spa 24 hour support is a great meeting to be attached to, and assen has to be seen to be believed. it's real old school world series by renault crowd sizes, unbelievable.

David Richert confirmed at CRAM today for the Eurocup. His ´old´ team EuroInterpol is getting into LMP3 in ELMS so i guess they don´t do FR2.0 anymore.

@FormulaHistory, Tech1 will be doing NEC as well.

Can't be too much of a blow imo, yes he's a great young talent but F3 has plenty of them, with several new faces moving in, and it's far more of a gain for the Eurocup.
