Actually, it's either. The fora vs forums debate has gone on for a while and after research, either format can be used.

Where it gets interesting is how to refer to Tenths. Tenths is a forum made up of multiple forums (or fora).

I suspect my excuses are shared by others: family life, work, lack of work (freelance worries) and perhaps a bit of specifically making an effort not to spend too much time in front of a computer when the time should be spent dealing with responsibilities. Before finding 10/10ths, I had never really done much on the internet, so the novelty of sharing interests and the often very funny sense of humours here was a factor, but all in all, its more of a time thing now.

I joined recently, because a passing interest in 70s/80s super saloons led me here. There's a whole thread full of photos, and it seemed that attachments to a post can't be downloaded unless you register. So I suspect that's one reason many people register and then never return.

Actually we get a lot of people that register and then "lurk", it's getting people to actually talk that's the problem And then getting some of them to shut up is also a problem

Yes, indeed, and quite rightly too. To give people grief for trying to communicate in a foreign language is a terrible thing (except if it is constructive and wanted).

Absolutely...it takes a few seconds to find the solution to that one!

It is much like the situation regarding podia/podiums.

I would say that when you refer to Ten-Tenths you are refering to the website as a whole, which means it is more than a collection of forums.

I guess, if you wanted to add another layer, you could bring Royalridge Computing into it.
