First things first: Llaver is gonna race for Honda (who themselves allegedly could be changing the main sponsor from Puma to YPF) in TC2000 and Toyota in TCR, both kinda "official" teams, Argentina things... you just learn to enjoy them.
Second: There could be 55 cars for the first TC race on Viedma (or 54, Ponce de Leon could end not going) which is a recent record afaik, also expected 40 TC pista, the numbers are kinda nuts Also, Bricco Design is on a roll, both Lambiris and Fritzler cars are fire Last edited by TuteZaek; 8 Feb 2023 at 15:42. |

Correct me if I am wrong but Llaver is really a TC2000 guy, he didn't do any TN or TC racing.

He did TC pista in 2015 (10 races, with Di Meglio Motorsport in a Ford) and some limited programs on TRV6 on 2017 (Lincoln Sport Group) and 2019 (Azar Motorsport), but yes, he is mostly a TC2000 exclusive, i think TCR will be the first full programme apart from the TC2000 one since he started there.
This is a reality for a lot of drivers that didn't started the "TC ladder" early when it was implemented, and now is kinda late for a lot of them. This year the language of the acces for the TC was clarified in response to Chapur asking for autorization to go from TCP to TC. (Chapur should be on TC IMHO, but "the rules") This was Llaver TC Pista Ford Last edited by TuteZaek; 8 Feb 2023 at 16:05. |

Still unconfirmed about the circuit the San Luis round will be using, some news sites said its gonna be on Potrero... but being an sprint race and the fact that the Rosendo Hernandez is really close to potrero (Unlikely option tho) and La Pedrera is being promoted by the province a lot (The more likely option) i'm not sure that they will build Potrero (it's a semi-permanent circuit)

This is the TCR World Tour after all. The San Luis weekend clashes with TC Pick Up. So it wouldn't be surprising if some TC2000, Top Race and Turismo Nacional drivers get wildcards. The province government could be willing to spend some money to race at Potrero.

And the first race of TC is history!
Victory for Werner (Ford-Fadel Racing) with Castellano (Dodge-Castellano Metalfor) and Catalan Magni (Ford-Catalan Magni Motorsport) Werner reached 13 consecutive seasons with race wins, being only one of 3 to do so, after Galvez (16) and Ortelli (14), also reached Pairetti as the 13th pilot in number of wins with 22 victories, and the 3rd one currently active, after Ledesma (26) and Rossi (25) Talking about Rossi, and bringing back Pairetti again, his engine quit 4 laps from the finish lane while on first place with the Camry, thus denying Toyota its first TC win and mantaining Pairetti as the only pilot that won with a "non traditional" brand (Volvo) As for the champion, Urcera had a penalty from an incident in his series and started from the last place (53) and ended in 14th position after passing 39 cars in 25 laps, which is a category record for conventional races And, lastly... Chevrolet really miss Canapino (Both father and son), even with lighter weight, the Chevys were nowhere near the top |

Talking about Rossi... YPF wants him in TC2000 again so they're pestering TGR to build another car, but... and is a big one, there are clashes with Stock Car

Martos Competicion showed its clase 3 cars.
This is Risatti's Focus: This is Domenech's Corolla: But this one, Ventriccelli's Focus, is the most interesting one, sponsorhip wise: How/why Ford still insists with Ventri i don't know. (I know that he is really invested in Ford's dealership asociation, but still) |

IDK about TC2000, but Puma is the new TN official fuel for this season.
What's interesting is that Puma effectively was sponsoring Ardusso, and aparently it was one of the causes of him and the JP Carrera parting ways when Canapino went to the team in TC, because it was expected that YPF was to sponsor Agustin... that never happened, but now YPF is sponsoring Ardusso's team... Last edited by TuteZaek; 15 Feb 2023 at 21:24. Reason: Puma is confirmed as TN official fuel. |

Good news for TC2000, the Octanos Team, previously racing on TR and TCPK, will change this last one for TC2000, racing the old DTA Fiats, that were raced by FS competicion last year, with Josito Di Palma y Aldrighetti as drivers, so, a really strong lineup.
And yes: Graphic design is TC2000 passion. |
