Looks like I forgot my 1950's car - Mercedes from 1954-55. Perhaps THE best. It appeared in various forms through the course of the season, with and without covered wheels/enclosed body.
Fangio at Aintree, 1955 Fangio at Reims, 1954 Karl Ling Reims 1954 Moss/Fangio (I think) leading at the start Colour photo of Herman Lang at his home GP, '54 The 1950's Ferrari's were VERY nice too One car that hasn't been mentioned is the 1984 ATS, as driven by a young Gerhard Berger. Lovely vehicle, black and yellow. Berger also got to drive some scrumptious Benetton's too... |

Also the 1991-94 Williams, they were like the car that you would draw, I mean, you said "draw a F1 car" and you would draw a Williams FW14-15-16, because they were so pure, so uncomplicated

82 - virtually the whole grid, particularly Ferrari, Brabham, Lotus and Williams (stub-nose FW08)
80 Renault 79 Brabham (red) and buzz-bomb Warsteiner Arrows 77 Brabham Alfa - red Martini livery. Sensational 83 Ferrari, Brabham, Lotus 84-86 Lotus 85 Ferrari and McLaren 86-87 Benetton BMW & Ford 89 Brabham and McLaren 90 Tyrrell 91 Jordan 92-93 McLaren I'm sure I'll think of more as soon as I submit this! Really couldn't care too much for these modern-day things, pug-ugly, overwinged with bits of lego sticking out everwhere and with tyres that are way too big - and grooved. Yuk! |

I must be missing somthing, but I have never seen a good looking Bennetton...ever.
I used to like the black AGS's (1991???) - don't think they qualified very much though. The JPS lotus with aryton Senna on board always looked good. The 7-up Jordan - great. The current Arrows looks good. |

The original Pacific was apparently an old Rory Byrne Benetton that never saw the light of day. Pacific bought the rights to it, B@stardised it and fitted a 92 spec ilmor to it. Muchos success! Best Looking cars Ferrari 412t2 (1995) Lotus 72 (1970-1973) Lotus 79 (1978) Brabham Bt5? (1983) Last edited by alesi95; 12 Jul 2002 at 09:56. |

I always thought the Walter Wolf Racing Specials of the late '70s were pretty cool looking. Still have a poster of Scheckter at Monaco - sharp, agressive-looking car - in black of course!
