T23 seats have no backs and you can get very hot in hour or so each side of start as they are quite close and legroom is limited.
Did like T5 ? Goodyear as well spaced seats and seat backs - front row bad as had bars to stop you falling in eyesight line. Also decent keg room - basically looking over left turn if Dunlop chicane - moved higher when rain came and when returned at night so can see ovee barrier. Big screen a bit to left and need binoculars or zoom lens to read order clearly. Works well with Chappelle ACO area and Panarama parking PS T 5 had no space at front for annoying larecomers or would be David Baileys to stand up en masse and block en masse and block view |

I need to remember a seat cushion for next year. Those grandstand seats are UNCOMFORTABLE!

Agree on cushions as ordered a couple of yellow Grello ones - quite bright so hopefully won’t leave on seats
Cushions were popular with the German DTMers at Spa |

I am planning to be there again - 42 years after my first visit. This year we had 36 people in our group - should be similar in 2025.

Saw it, was thinking Pompey St Malo out and Chunnel return. As you say the cabin thing is a bit strange.

Well, I've decided to stick with the chunnel both ways. I recall the absolute disaster getting off the boat in Portsmouth followed by a 2.5 hours drive. Mind you, the chunnel isn't brilliant, but at least I can get back in a day.

I got my renewal reminder today, access to the members area is now 59 euros, taking off the 10 euros for me programme, I am wondering if it is actually worth 49 euros to access the 2 areas.

IMO it depends on what you are doing for the race and where you are staying. If you are out at Porsche Curves or BSJ etc. and not staying up through the night then it makes little sense. But if you are in Houx, TR or similar then, again, unless you are staying up through the night you may as well not bother.
I had the pass this year thanks to one of our band, but due to the weather I decided to head back to PC and there I stayed. In fact I got a few hours sleep due to the rain. |

Was it not completely rammed in the Member's areas this year? Only been in La Chapelle once which was at last year's race on a freebie - and at certain points you couldn't get an outdoor table. It's probably very good in the late hours, but the rest of the time, are you paying to be in a different, equally crowded area?

It was very busy at La Chapelle this year.
Queues for food were very, very silly (especially for breakfast Sunday morning) but I think overall it's good to have somewhere you can sit, get food and drink. Not sure about 2025 - depends on what campsite I can book and if my son comes with me. |

I'm looking at sorting out ACO membership to come for 2025. Coming with one friend, do we both need to get membership or just one of us? I think I'd seen that some campsites are members only, and I think we'll want to use the hospitality at la chappelle as well.
Thanks |
