Sounds very cool indeed! And with Djursland back its now a great calendar!
Anyone have more info on the Street track? Will it get a new layout or be the same as the historic races? Anyone have a track map of that one?

In fact they did go to Ring Djursland i 2007, that is correct. Its an awesome little track, reminds me of the smal UK tracks.

Regarding the TBA event, it seems to be a choice between Anderstorp together with the SSC supercars, or the STCC event in Gothenburg.

It will be the historic track, yet another reson to come to CPHG

However, it will probably just be a shoot-out, as the track is a wee bit to small for a 20 car DTC field.

Last years track looked like this:

Ooooooo, Gothenburg please! A STCC-DTC double header! Now THAT would be some event to go to!

Thanks for the map! Looks like it could be a great little track for Touringcars, if it isnt too narrow. Is there any youtube vids of the track? Did some searching but didnt find anything...

Indeed, and would work out fine with STCC running on Saturday and DTC on Sunday. But does DTC run ecological fuel enough to be welcome?

And why not put 1 weekend for STCC in Copenhagen as well, for another double

As for Anderstorp, great track as well, though it seems the owners dont want people to actually use it.

Some DTC teams wanna run the STCC race the day before to get more tracktime? Or why not just run them both at the same time! Have been done before, Mantorp 2004 I belive.

Hehe, that would, literally, be bumper to bumper action on that short track

There you go, Sir:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2oZZlx83Do

The first is the track driven by Danish Formula Ford champion Christian Markussen a Danish buildt Aquila FF1800. The track straigth is a bit longer now, but the track is to narrow to sport a touringcar race without to many benders.

That doesnt deter the classic touringcars though, a FIA classic touringcar class races it.

No alternative fuel at all, ordinary 100 oktane racing fuel.

Sadly.

I write for them as the DTC editor, I hope that doesnt represent a problem? I am also a pressofficer for a Danish DTC team as well.

I just try to promote our national series, the best way I can.

If this deal gets signed, a great DTC streetrace will be in store in Gothenburg:

So DTC is now down to what? 15 or less cars? Is there a Super-Production or Showroom-Stock class in Denmark which could be integrated into DTC, if necessary??

Lets see, I am sure that the DTC will grow in the next months. At the moment everyone is fighting for sponsors, and I guess that the deals will be closed with only weeks before the seasonopener.

The SSC has former DTC cars, which could run in the DTC. But the cost is high, and they will not competiable.

And it seems, we havent seen the last of JM Racing. Stay tuned.
