Yes - Schumacher had just begun his qualifying lap and it was impossible to tell how good it was at that stage!

Ferrari did a great job today, granted, but James Allen needs to tone down his gushing praise of them.

And Jim Rosenthal should be professional enough to at least attempt to hide his love for Ross Brawn.

The behind the scenes Ferrari aspect was good I thought. It was going to be pro-Ferrari, all the behind the scenes features are pro-team.

Jim has only grabbed hold of something with Brawn and is running it.

In thi scase I'm not sure ITV are the issue.

It's Jim and James personally, rather than ITV in general - I'm not just referring to this weekend.

Funny that Ferrari pushed one of it's "back room boys" (forward) to talk to Lenny Kravitz during the race. When other teams are the spotlight of ITV's "meet the team" series, James and Martin get to speak directly to the pit wall. (Sam Michael, Pat Symonds, Geoff Willis and Mike Gascoyne all spring to mind). Maybe Ross was too busy munching on his (now infamous, thanks to james Allen) banana!

Awful TV direction by the old Frenchies today. Far too much focus on the two cars out front who were not doing anything, while the battles behind were completely ignored. There are more than two cars on the track Mr. Director!

Yes the TV directon was appalling, however the race itself wasn't a thriller which just compounded matters.

I think it was a race harking back to the 'glory' days of 2002...

Yes. Somehow, even though Schumacher has dominated to a far greater extent than in 2002 it hasn't felt so shatteringly dull.

Not sure why, really.

Possibly because BAR and Renault are up there as well, and the contrived points system keeps Barrichello in a reasonable range of MS.

And of course, Taku has a decent car!

I'd agree with the BAR and Renault point tweed....points don't matter to me really, it's the raacing that counts at the end of the day. Haven't exactly had an abundance of that, but still.....

Taku in a decent car equals utter heaven. Problem is, it blows up all the time!LOL.

As long as it stays together next Sunday

Expect the racing at Silverstone to be better than we've just seen, especially if the wonderful British weather shows it's hand.
