Yeah, sorry, my bad - I shouldn't feel a desire to see Champ Car be more like it used to be as recent as five or so years ago, as opposed to becoming more and more like Formula Parade, err, Formula 1 each passing year, but, gosh darnit, I just can't help it.

Okay, focusing on AGR again - it would not be prudent for AGR to be in Champ Car this year, but wait for at least 2007 when the new car is ready. And even then, assuming AGR does switch, will it be all four cars or a split?

Perhaps it is a question that, all things being equal, if the Honda $$ is no longer there then perhaps Michael prefers to run in OWRS. He can still run Indy if he wants and that would still be important to his sponsors. The balance of the schedule may not be any more (or less) attractive to them so he could retain them if they moved back.

It is interesting to speculate over, no question.

Rebuilding a CC fanbase may prove difficult (or may not) - this is something that the sponsors would have to consider. I don't feel that this decision is made by the team owners insomuch as it is made by the people footing the bill.
