agreed on the RML lola, it is a very nice car and the paintscheme follows the lines of the car well, but i really like the black highcroft acura it reminds me of the JPS lotus F1 cars with them gold stripes

meh, the highcroft car is doing pretty good so far in the ALMS, and the JPS colours are iconic they wont be forgotten anytime soon.
i yearn for lotus to return to LMP1 with a mad grunty 4.5 V8 with the looks of the 908 pug, yes even though the pug is a diesel its a fabulous looking car, second only to the courage LC70. |

could somebody tell me if it's in the rules that the lmp1s have to be symetrical,as looking at the pesca surely they would have been better with only the flick up on the drivers side.I would have thought that it is taking the airflow over the top of the airbox rather than directly in!

No, sorry it looks too heavy for what it is! There is too much body work! A super car should be svelt and toight like a toiger! The Veyron has pulled it off nicely with contrasting silver etc. The Zonda is beautifully sculpted, unlike the Lamborghini, whick looks like a smoothed off brick!
PS I am a car designer, I can make whaffty comments like that! Last edited by rcarr; 5 Apr 2007 at 23:32. |
