The problem is that too many drivers seem to want to play chicken with an almost immobile object. Do they also do the same with street furniture when driving on normal roads? Everyone should know that the tyres are there and they don't just jump out at individual drivers so as to test their reactions. The answer is to just avoid them, sweet and simple, and stop trying to cut corner. Otherwise, there will be tears or at least costly repair bills. |

Power Maxed Racing are well and truly back! Great stuff from Lloyd, Plato and the whole team!

Flash on pole, hope for his sake he doesn’t lose it like he did at Snett. This is his big chance. Great result for PMR, 2-3.
Sutton a bit down in 9th, behind Colin, but quite a way ahead of Tingram and Hill, so it’s not all bad |

Or has Hill shown at Silverstone last time that qualifying outside of the top ten doesn't mean that the weekend is a disaster? Last edited by crmalcolm; 9 Oct 2021 at 17:35. |

Yes, I too am getting sick of certain people declaring the championship over way too early. Personally, I find it hard to believe anyone but Sutton will win it at this stage, but it’s still not over and I’m gonna enjoy the racing tomorrow either way

Yes, Sutton is odds-on to take the title. But giving up hope of it being contested up until the final weekend, or declaring the contest is over already feels like giving up on the sport part of motorsport. |

I read about the BMWs aero kit for 2021 being suspect to disturbance when having to follow another car. My question is, if this aero kit is problematic in this instance, why haven’t they reverted to the 2020 aero kit, or are there rules in place to prevent this?

Track limits are being selectively observed in R1 it appears, most of the field have exceeded track limits at the Old Hairpin and McLeans but no action from race control.
Out of the 1056 miles covered in R1 there was not one report from race control of a car exceeding track limits. I find that very hard to believe, otherwise it was a very boring race. Last edited by mark_l; 10 Oct 2021 at 11:26. |

Great drive from Hill. A couple more laps and he’d have been in the top 12. Hopefully gets a good reverse grid.
As soon as Plato’s car gets behind a couple of others cars it looks like it’s got a parachute attached. Hopefully he can stay where he is or thereabouts and get a good reverse grid also, as if he did get a pole he’d be off, yet if he’s behind 2 or more cars again he’ll only go backwards….. |

Is Sutton that much better than everyone else? Is everyone else rubbish? I just dont get it. He does things no one else can do. Still, Tim Harvey likes him, loves him i think....

I get that Sutton is doing a good job, but Harvey bangs on as if he’s married to him! Lol

R2 Jade Edwards and Andy Neate next to each other on the grid, what could possibly go wrong.

Our only hope for 2022 is the hybrid system, because as it is then I can't see many other drivers having a look in next year.
