CombeMarshal should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Dave, Thanks for your thanks, do you mind if I copy your post to the castle combe talk news letter so more Combe Marshals can read it.
Cheers, and good show!

No problem at all

I arrived at the circuit on Thursday night. It was my very first visit there and didn't really know what to expect. I found the organisation to be first class. Registration, scrutineering etc was a breeze. The general empassis on safety and the quality of the safety briefings were second to none. Much better than some of the bigger circuits I could mention

On a slightly lighter note, and I'm sure Owen from car #77, will not mind me mentioning it, did anybody notice the name of the sponsor on the passenger side of Owens car? Unfortunately it was BURNSIDE!

Oh, and a big hello to the pit lane marshal who spent the entire weekend sticking two fingers up at me. TWO MINUTES!! (he knows what I mean ) What a smashing bloke he is.

Really pleased to hear you, and the other guys are ok Dave. I was at Camp, and watched it all unfold from a distance - it certainly was carnage. The marshals and rescue teams involved did a fantastic job of dealing with it, it seemed a bit weird leaving post when they were still involved with the clear up, but there was nothing we could do then.

I imagine the damage to cars may mean it is a while before any of you get back out on track, but I wish you all the best when you do.

Thanks for that My car is fine as is the black Tasmin and the blue Tuscan. We just skidded off onto he grass without hitting anything. Number 77 however, the green Tuscan, is a right off. Apparently the black / silver Tuscan is Fixable bt will probably take all winter.

myself & another marshal came down from quarry to assist, up on arriving it was a bit of sight, but its nice to know that all this safety that goes in to these cars, do the job when needed.
I must also thank the driver who came over to assist us, the silver/black tuscan was leaking fuel, but the elec's were off and it was just gravity.

Ps,
the enhaling of the powder from a fire bottle, has done well for my figure, and the chance to have a nice sit down for a while (on the throne).
