One thing I notice about the entry list. It must be the first time for many years that the Stockhatch class has less entries than both the Div1./Supercar and, the Supernational/Supermodified classes

And that 50% of the Stockhatch class are not 205's

I think Derrick Jobbs equipment is as sophisticated as anyones. He also has the ability. Out of sight, out of mind I suppose.

The Revivals class should be an interested battle between Gary Pusey in his Escort RWD and Lance Foster in the Green & White Mini. We shouldn't discount Paul Buckmaster (he was running well last time out)

bestrep has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Big Grids At Lydden, Cracking For Spectators!!!.

It has come to my attention that Division 1 (Supercar) will run in Heats and Finals of 10 and also Super National (Supermodified) will also run in Heats and Finals of 10 and other classes (excluding Juniors) will run in Heats and Finals of 12. This should create a cracking spectator spectacular and a very special event!!!!!.

10 car heats? I thought we had 11 supercar entries surely 6 and 5 would be better with all running in the final.Having said that if reliability is what it normally is we will probaly be down to one 6 car heat anyway by third runs! Looking forward to the event and even get a lie in!!

It'll be interesting to see if Kein Proctor is there tomorrow. The Puma sounded very flat (running on 3) today at Castle Coombe.
Did any one know that he's bought the old (new!) JMC transporter?
Kevin McCann, Steve Hill, Andy Grant, Bob Gooding and John Collins all drove.
Also saw Andrew and Mike Jordan watching, Ian Evans and Nick Jones working on the works Suzuki's.

I see Belguim driver Roger Lippens is on the entry, check out the uncanny likeness himself and his car has to Martin Schanche and the Xtrac Escort.

Any news from Lydden? Was supposed to be going down but the 6 hour drive didn't appeal to me!

Times/Results anyone?

Enjoyed myself not driving, but despite promising myself not to I still managed to get covered in oil.

Great turn out of supercars. Well done to Mark.

Kev was awsome in practice!!!

Jo and Matt had a great battle in the final.

Quite why there was no red flag when Allan was on his side in the super nat A final when the pack came round again I don't know, marshal who had gone to try and get him out of the car had to run back out of the way!?!

Oh yeah, forgot about the stockhatch final. Darren drove really really well!

Really thought he would get buy Heppy at one point. How often does anyone other than Ash do that?
