Ill echo whats been said before on here, I love the way British GT let the off season announcements pan out, builds excitement for sure.
We are almost 50% of the grid capacity announced, with 7 GT3s and 10 GT4s. Others are rumoured and suggested but the list below only covers those confirmed. Hoping we will see a 15+ GT3 field at least this year, I think 15 GT3s, 20 GT4s is a nice balance. So far looking like GT3 will be Balfe vs Barwell vs Ram British GT (35 car limit - 17/35) GT3 - 7 cars ABBA Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 - Richard Neary / Sam Neary Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 720s GT3 - Rob Bell / Shaun Balfe Barwell Motorsport - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo - Adam Balon / Phil Keen JMH Automotive - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo - John Seale / Jamie Stanley RAM Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo - Ian Loggie / Yelmer Buurman RAM Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo - Sam De Haan / Patrick Kujala Team Parker Racing - Bentley Continental GT3 - Nick Jones / Scott Malvern GT4 - 10 cars Academy Motorsport - Ford Mustang GT4 - TBA / TBA Academy Motorsport - Ford Mustang GT4 - TBA / TBA Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Graham Johnson / Michael O’Brien Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Euan Hankey / Mia Flewitt Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - Ben Hurst / Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - TBA / TBA Optimum Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - Connor O’Brien / TBA Optimum Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - TBA / TBA Tolman Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Katie Milner / Michael Benhahia Tolman Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Harry Hayek / Alain Valente |

Assuming an Aston or 3 will show agaim?
How about one from leftfield... a well run, well driven Lexus or more likely a Porsche based on their successes in various series last year? |

WPI Motorsport Lamborghini returns in GT3.
Michael Igoe will share the car with Lambo factory drivers Franck Perera and Dennis Lind, who steps in for a couple of rounds when Perera is unavailable. |

Heres how the grid is shaping up with 19 of 35 full season entries confirmed.
Interestingly for GT3, we are at 9 cars, before any Aston Martin has been declared, of which last year there were 4. Given that Optimum have moved over to Mclaren in GTWC they are most likely not returning to BGT, but we should still see 1-2 TF Sport cars, and perhaps the Beechdean AMR car. The other factors on GT3 grid size will be if Century return with 2 BMW's, and whether Barwell bring a second car. So we are looking again at somewhere in the 13-15 GT3 window GT3 - 9 cars ABBA Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 - Richard Neary / Sam Neary Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 720s GT3 - Rob Bell / Shaun Balfe Barwell Motorsport - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo - Adam Balon / Phil Keen JMH Automotive - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo - John Seale / Jamie Stanley JRM Racing - Bentley Continental GT3 - Martin Plowman / Kelvin Fletcher RAM Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo - Ian Loggie / Yelmer Buurman RAM Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo - Sam De Haan / Patrick Kujala Team Parker Racing - Bentley Continental GT3 - Nick Jones / Scott Malvern WPI Motorsport - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 - Michael Igoe / (Franck Perera / Dennis Lind) GT4 - 10 cars Academy Motorsport - Ford Mustang GT4 - TBA / TBA Academy Motorsport - Ford Mustang GT4 - TBA / TBA Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Graham Johnson / Michael O’Brien Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Euan Hankey / Mia Flewitt Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - Ben Hurst / Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - TBA / TBA Optimum Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - Connor O’Brien / TBA Optimum Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - TBA / TBA Tolman Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Katie Milner / Michael Benhahia Tolman Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Harry Hayek / Alain Valente |

I know TF have said they will return but nothing confirmed as of yet, and nothing from Beechdean either Curious if Barwell bring a second car too This may well all be within the scope of the well managed British GT entry announcement trickle. |

Good to see the Porsche in for the full season - it's been a bit odd these last few years with such a limited Porsche presence in British GT.

didn't g-cat have a different car last year? or am i thinking of someone else... either way, it was a stunning looking thing, particularly from the rear. great to see them sign up for a full season.

Same car, same driver pairing. They only did a partial season last year, something to do with noise restrictions and that Porsche. Assuming that is resolved now

GT3 entrants from last year yet to declare are TF Sport and Century, and we could well see a second Barwell car.
So we are looking at 14-17 GT3's depending on that lot, assuming there is no more new additions. |

One month since I last shared a entrant list, an increase of only 5 more entries announced, and we have another 11 more slots to be filled.
TF Sport are yet to announce, there is another piece of GT4 news tomorrow that wont be TF Sport, Barwell, Century, and more are all yet to call it. If we see a pair of TF Sport GT3's and even just 1 Century BMW GT3, then we would have a pretty comfortable 15 car GT3 grid, allowing for a 20 car GT4 grid, which I think is a happy balance between classes. (35 car limit - 24/35) GT3 - 12 cars Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 720s GT3 - Rob Bell / Shaun Balfe Barwell Motorsport - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo - Adam Balon / Phil Keen Beechdean AMR - Aston Martin Vantage GT3 - Alex Toth-Jones / Valentin Hasse-Clot G Cat Racing - Porsche 911 GT3 R - Shamus Jennings / Greg Caton JMH Automotive - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo - John Seale / Jamie Stanley JRM Racing - Bentley Continental GT3 - Martin Plowman / Kelvin Fletcher Optimum Motorsport - Mclaren 720s GT3 - Martin Berry / Nick Foster RAM Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo - Ian Loggie / Yelmer Buurman RAM Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo - Sam De Haan / Patrick Kujala Team ABBA Racing - Mercedes AMG GT3 - Richard Neary / Sam Neary Team Parker Racing - Bentley Continental GT3 - Nick Jones / Scott Malvern WPI Motorsport - Lamborghini Huracan GT3 - Michael Igoe / (Franck Perera / Dennis Lind) GT4 - 12 cars Academy Motorsport - Ford Mustang GT4 - TBA / TBA Academy Motorsport - Ford Mustang GT4 - TBA / TBA Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Graham Johnson / Michael O’Brien Balfe Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Euan Hankey / Mia Flewitt Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - Ben Hurst / Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke Century Motorsport - BMW M4 GT4 - TBA / TBA HHC Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Gus Bowers / Chris Wesemael HHC Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - TBA / TBA Optimum Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - Connor O’Brien / TBA Optimum Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT4 - TBA / TBA Tolman Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Katie Milner / Michael Benhahia Tolman Motorsport - Mclaren 570s GT4 - Harry Hayek / Alain Valente |
