It's official!!!

From Canada.com.... http://www.canada.com/national/story...d-6cc617cf97cd
Quote:
Molson Inc., Canada's largest brewer, has agreed to merge with Adolph Coors Co. in a $6-billion US deal that creates a new beer behemoth and ends the independence of two of North America's biggest family-run brewing icons.
Quote:
The agreement would create the world's fifth biggest brewer -- to be called Molson Coors Brewing Co. -- as measured by volume of beer sold.

Well there's many a slip between the beer glass and the merger. Who says this thing is going to be approved by the respective bureaucrats of two entirely different countries? It could take 10 years to sort out and then could be vetoed by the governments involved.

I wouldn't worry about it in the near term, myself.

Is there anything else left in Canada that isn't at least half owned by foreigners?

They may not have sponsored the event, but they did sponsor Scott Dixon's car for a portion of the season, including the race in Denver.

Ah, yes. Thanks, Omega99. I remembered that Coors was involved in some capacity.
