If the track is fast and flowing Craig will feature as he had serious speed at PI last year. The 'unseen track' factor will put him up there as well as the real 'drivers' will get on top of it quickest and/or handle a less than perfect car if they can't get the setups right.
Rick was nowhere in China and Craig had speed as well - the battle with Skaife in Race 1 was a cracker as was the move on Ambrose at the end of the straight like he was standing still. burnt clutch destroyed that weekend though - but he had speed. The other advantage is Rick has said his new goal is now just finish top 5 - he obviously hasn't watched much sport when the leading team stops trying to won and starts trying to defend a lead - turn bad, fast. So by all means Ricky - please do!! If Lowndes is going now i wonder how many reccie laps he'll get in a road car before the rest of them arrive Last edited by SRabbit; 13 Nov 2006 at 20:43. |

I will do my traditional round tip of John Bowe. He may sadly retire before he wins another round.
However Tim Edwards thinks, (and he would know) that the Bahrain circuit will be perfect for FPR as it is like the sweeping corners seen at Phillip Island at which FPR has extensive experience. Winterbottom to win races (Bowe with his consistency to take the round). Bright to make another school boy error and his teammate will be riding shotgun. Tell me that is a conspiracy baby. |

Marcus Marshall will stun the world taking pole and all three race wins. He will then win the backing of a mysterious shaik and enter F1.

Just out of curiosity (?spelling) I had a look at the weather for Bahrain.
Temp 27 degrees Humidity 90% Is that what the boys are in for? Like having a race in sizzle's beloved Darwin in January!!! |

Lots of straight line grunt reqd there. The Toll cars certainly have the edge in that dept of late.

Not terribly flowing, as I said there are only two or three sweepers.

Looks like it will be an exciting track, with Toll and FPR cars to shine with their grunt. Unless SBR get one of those new D headed jobbies into the 888 car...

why is everyone forgetting about 888!!!!
Clowndes showed enough pace in race trim to be a fair shot and hopefully they will do a bit more work and find that little extra when they get there. |

Would make sense. I imagine it would be a subliminal style Sirromet advertisement similar to Ferrari in Formula 1.
