DaveBrockman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

It is done, but there's provision for teams retaining V10s and being rev-limited in a crude equivalancy formula.

But if all the teams stuck to V10s, and all accepted the same rev-limit...

But they can't.

The rule says "if they are unable to secure a supply of V8s".

Quite patently the manufacturer teams at least have to run V8s.
