There will be those who say ah Plato old tricks again but he was about 3/4 alongside Turkington...racing incident!
On the other hand Jordan and Neal appear to have lost their minds today. Jordan was simply overdriving the Vectra and the amount of weaving he was doing - I was expecting him to end up spearing off into the barriers. Was good to see the onboards from Colin "Twitchy Toes" Turkington. |

I ran out of sympathy for Plato some time ago - he's experienced enough to avoid incidents like that. He gets involved in far too many "racing incidents" and I couldn't help but laugh when he got punted off only seconds later.

He did more or less admit it was an optimistic move but I agree with his reasons behind it. Turkington would have been gone given the chance.
Wonder what Paul O'Neill can manage in Race 2, he'll be a bit heavier but that cars going good. |

I haven't laughed so much in ages.
Was there a clean pass all race ? or were they all nerfed out of the way. Jordan was weaving so much he eventually threw himself off the track |

Thompson and Plato are starting from the back, should be interesting to see how they progress. I wouldn't rules out either of them for 8th and a reverse pole for race 3. |

It's not Turkington's fault he has a fast car, Plato should just deal with it properly, rather than doing stuff like that. I knew that would happen. Glad he retired from that race, justice has been done. If only he could show some class and drive like Giovanardi, now that man knows how to race. He's very fair and will only use force if it's been used against him, otherwise he'll settle for the points.

Typical ITV with their Plato-obsessed coverage. Missing the move for 2nd place by Turkington because they wanted to see Plato get a minor placing.

Easy win for Fabrizio.
Great drive from Plato to get up to third! Sorry Craner - I think watching a car move up the field was a safer bet for the camera crew. |

I'm not arguing about that, but they should have watched the 2nd part of the move, as it was clear Adam was compromised coming from the Esses and Turkington had the run on him. Thompson's drive was equally as good.

Harry Vaulkhard gets pole for race 3, James Nash will start second.
Collard and Adam look good for a race 3 win though, both lining up on row 2 in the rear wheel drive Airwaves BMW's. |

Got a hunch the last BTCC race might be late. Apparently this Porsche race is 124 laps!

At least at that point they were still focusing on something happening on track. Just who are half the people they cut to in the pits? I don't have a clue who they are and doesn't that sort of make it pointless to show them? Maybe a bit of regret showing from Plato now that he could have settled for 2nd in Race 1 I see. |

It seems to be influenced by F1, cutting to shots of Nicole Sherzzzzzinger or whatever her name is.

My God
I had enough of her at Hungary, Jesus she got more damn airtime than Lewis Can she please be kept in a box!! RE: The footage I think somer posters may be right, these people must be F1 based as they keep missing the live action to show us replays, rememebr they get nearly 2 hours of tosh in F1 races so they arent used to overtaking So obvious these are the people that were invovled in F1 as they ahve no idea how to properly cover a TC race!! The cameras are fine and the footage good, but the direction is woeful!! Quite comical though! |
