I suspect this meeting might now be on the 1-2 July - The 15-16 July is the same weekend as the HSCC Super Prix; and MSV have announced a saloon car themed meeting, at Brands, for the first weekend of July - with CTCRC being the main attraction.

I rather fear the HSCC International Trophy at Silverstone and the Masters at Brands Hatch are going to clash on 27/28 May………

Surprised that Thruxton isn't on the CTCRC's 2023 calendar. I thought that the combination of the Trucks and CTCRC's various championships worked well but obviously it isn't to be next season, at Thruxton at least.

It does seem strange given that the HSCC's International Trophy has traditionally been on the second or third weekend in May. Wonder what has caused the move ?

I have been a regular 3 day attender at Silverstone Classic for many years . Circuit so-so , but entry fantastic and access brilliant. But - its new date is one of the very few weekends when I need to be at home . I swung it this year but can't do so again with a clear conscience.

I already go to Members Meeting and Gold Cup - what can I do to plug the gap? Something at Brands - Masters?- sounds an obvious candidate, How does it compare for size and nature of entry , access etc? I love the circuit and was a regular so no concern about that but can I see the same spectacle ?

Or any other ideas ?

I'm not prepared to go to the Silverstone Classic on the August B/H either. Masters at Brands if the entry is reasonable is a great weekend with access as good as the Classic.

No Snetterton either. Back to the circuits and meetings where you're practically guaranteed to receive good entries. Can't blame them as MRL must have suffered a big hit at both Thruxton and Snetterton.

Indeed, I'd forgotten Snetterton. That said Thruxton is a good, fun circuit.

Hi Alan! HVM is involved with GP de France Castellet, Motors Festival Croix en Ternois and Motors Cup Dijon only, you're right. Pau is a different matter as you guess, its Pau Classic Grand Prix 2023.
