The problems at Texas happened because there wasn't enough testing, and to make matters worse the lone driver who got to do the testing, Kenny Brack, was one of the very few who didn't experience any vertigo whatsoever once they came back for the race weekend. It was in 2001, by the way.

Had they done a proper amount of testing which had made them aware of the problem a lot earlier, I am confident they would have been able to work out a solution (slowing them down slightly by aerodynamic means, for example).

I remember the day they decided to cancel it all too well - it was going to be one of the hardest, closest Champ Car races ever, and I had been looking forward to it for months. I was angry for like a week afterwards

Amar7605 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I remember taping the Texas race because I was at work. When I got home and watched it, all I saw was an empty track and I shouted, "What the hell?!?!?!?!?"

24+ cars would be great & for a change I can actually see it happening, rather than it just beig a load of hype! Lets hope even for a few more with all the top teams running 3 strong entries, with a few new teams & a load of top quality drivers!
