Roshfrans:Official Lubricant of the CCWS?

"Roshfrans products, which include not only engine lubricants but cooling and transmission fluids as well as all types of greases and additives, will also be used on the fleet of Champ Car Safety trucks as well as the specially-prepared cars of the Champ Car Fast Lap pace car program."

Not to downplay the announcement, but I find it amusing that Roshfrans will develop a motor oil for CC, but nothing else. Instead the pace cars and safety vehicles will run their other stuff.

Eh, either way this is a good announcement. And with all of the NAFTA trade going on, we shouldn't look at sponsorship being just American, Canadian, Mexican, or whatever... it's a global economy everyone!

Hell, I'd be happy if TATA Corporation from India sponsored the series! As long as sponsorship money is coming in, who cares who's behind it!

I can't imagine they are paying much for this. It seems almost meaningless to me from a fiscal support opportunity as CCWS is still a US based series, and they need US based support first.
