Enjoyed qùali today, don't know if it's the shorter track or what but it seemed more exciting than usual. Great performances by AT-S and DeLeon!

Really enjoyed watching that qualifying format in person yesterday. I doubt we'll see the top 6 in the championship end up in a top 10 group again, that was a bit of a surprise. But it made for an interesting session.

The fact that all the drivers could get several laps in without the jargon of a 30 minute session made it a thrilling watch!

Championship situation's getting closer and closer. Perhaps we'll see a six-way battle come Brands although that's a very long way to go.
Some great battles in R1, enjoyed this one. |

Disaster? Starting P20 and finishing 10th with good chances of a (near) front row start in R3? Hardly a disaster.

No, it is not when you salvage as many points as possible and put yourself in a good position for R3.
It can get hectic in R3 with Hill down in 12th, he'll either make a great recovery or will have a difficult race, crashing in the midpack. The way I see it now, it'll be Ingram v Hill as the main title protagonists. The other four drivers may be pretty close but honestly can't see anyone outside the aforementioned two getting it done. Have to say I'm really disappointed with Sutton this year, it's kind of back to 2022 for him. He's not quick enough to win races and recently even a podium is a tough ask. Now he starts P8 so I guess this'll be another 5th or 6th. |

I wonder if BTCC should try something different one year at Knockhill. Run the Saturday in the normal configuration & Sunday in reverse. They did this last weekend with the caterham event. You could have Saturday FP1, Q in place of FP2, race 1, race 2 (fastest lap sets grid for race 3)
Then Sunday - FP2, race 3, race 4 (reverse grid) Then on the Friday test day you can run the morning sessions normal configuration & afternoon reverse for the support packages. Just an idea, I’d like to see what BTCC is like on the reverse configuration |

We all know you pick your battles. Especially with different tyres on we've seen it in recent meetings where battling with someone on the faster tyre ends in trouble. |

Tempting fate, but when was the last time we had a safety car this year? (In the BTCC) must be a record!

Cooky blaming three people when Morgan was the only one you could even remotely blame.

Tbf he had been hit sideways 3 times in as many corners. Your bound to feel a little aggrieved.

Well, Cook needs to watch some replays to fully grasp what happened. He was a bit of a spinning ballerina there, wasn't he? Anyway, definitely not Ash's fault, he had nowhere to go.
Huff vs Ingram battle for the win was splendid, although Tom did risk a lot during this. |

What slim chance Ingram had for getting past Huff was put paid to by Chilton. I know that he claimed that he had run out of brakes, but did he really? If he was a true team player, he would never have put himself in the position that forced Ingram to have to defend, thus allowing Huff to make a break away. To me that was Team Chilton vs Team Bristol Street Motors.
I was surprised that Watson was only verbally warned about some of his moves in Race 2; he seemed to be overly aggressive and involved in too many incidents. |

Yeah, Chilton attacking Ingram was not very helpful and don't think the team was happy with it.
As for Watson, he had a terrible weekend and is the single biggest disappointment of the year for me, both in terms of his pace/performance and his racecraft. |
