GP Masters - don't they look/sound great ?

That's a really great idea. Have the GP Masters use some of the classic track rather than the sterile Tilke ones. They could also look to adding a few more epic circuits that have not been on the GP schedule, but should have been. Imagine what 26 of those cars driven by Mansell, Patrese, Prost etc... would be like around Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin.

I think the whole concept should look to race on the classic tracks that they use to race, places forgotten by F-1 due to the "required" safety issues that today we see on F-1, i think they should race at Silverstone more than Brans-Hatch, A1GP race there prove that even with the upgrades is a little bit narrow for passing

Along Kyalami, they should add the classics and great places of F-1 later 80´s that still are in use, i use to love those races at Estoril and Jerez, Imola perhaps??, also why not, consider to race in America, Montreal and Mexico City, here in Mexico we still remember this GREAT!! drivers, i was 14 years old when the last Mexican Prand Prix took place and still remember how popular Mansell, De Cesaris, Patrese they were in that time for mexicans, i'm sure the same should be in Canada

The problem though is that the likes of San Marino, Montreal and Mexico Coty have all been modified, and the best part of the track taken away in each instance.

As long as they don't run on any tilke circuits then I will be happy so that means they can't run at half of the current F1 circuits then.

I like the Malaysia and Turkey tracks but none of the other Tilkedromes. Spa would be a good track for the GP Masters to go to, but even that's less of a challenge now.

Spa is still challenging to anyone driving anything. The first time you take Eau Rouge and Blanchimont flat (in real life, not on a Playstation), it really commands your attention and respect, especially Eau Rouge in a single seater. You cannot see the corner at the top of ER and are never sure exactly where the road is going, meaning you are cornering hard at 140mph and the only thing you can see is sky and the tops of trees.

It's not the challenge it used to be in f1 because now there is more downforce so Eau Rouge is easily flat-out. Plus in the dry, you can get away with mistakes at many corners because of the tarmac runoff areas. And they have spoiled the Bus Stop chicane.

I disagree too - I think the series would be missing the point if it raced at anything other than an F1 circuit that some or all of the "Masters" originally raced at.

It would be great at Silverstone as a support race for the F1! However if thats not possible, I would prefer Brands Hatch.

I'm not sure how Jaques Laffite would feel though seeing as Brands ended his F1 Career.

About the cars, they do look and sound great with the fat slicks and low profile. They even look like mid 90's F1 cars from the cockpit camera view.

I would rather Brands hatch as F1 currently races at Silverstone and Brands and Silverstone used to alternate every year so they should race at Brands as we don't have good open wheel racing there anymore apart from the A1GP and I did hear that it could posisbly run on the same weekend as the DTM I was going to go to to both anyway if they happen!

Also Brands is the nearest circuit for me...

Nostalgic maybe, but I'm not sure about a 'race.'

12 cars nose to tail for 25 laps and then the two 'leaders' pulled out 20 secs in the last five laps or so.

Yes, I raced in the Monoposto single seater championship in UK, it goes to Spa every year.
