I'm wondering what kind of crowds they will draw over there?
If anyone does watch the one-hour highlights telecast, keep an eye out for the crowd size and let us know, please... |

Well , sportscar racing used to pull big numbers in Japan before , the interest was certainly there . I see no reason why it cant be successful again if its done correctly .
The Japanese love their sportscars !!! |

shame no Live coverage of the 2 races on Eurosport, only the WTCC will have it, 500 kms twice, ins't too difficult to bring them live...

Still, the highlights package inbetween the WTCC races seems decent; should make for a decent Sunday morning's viewing. Still think the ACO has shot themselves in the foot by not funding an RLM show though. |

If JLOC wins GT1, I hope to god that they show up at LM to actually race instead of whatever happened this year.

How quickly people forget how lucky JLOC was a few years ago to rebuild a car and even complete one lap after they wrote off an entire chassis...
One bad year at Le Mans is hardly worth writing off years of JGTC/Super GT competition, including a win or two. |

Of course, they certainly can put a decent programme together if they so choose, but we won't know if they have before the race. |

Race has started, and it seems the Forme 996 is beached somewhere and the Hong Kong Aston is a lap down already.

I think Ma may be the reason the Aston Martin is so slow. In the time I've been watching he's dropped at least 15 seconds further behind the next closest GT2 car, the Daishin Ferrari.
And now Cocker's lost 3 laps with a long pit stop after leading from the start Last edited by The359; 31 Oct 2009 at 04:02. |

Both JLOC cars are still running? What gives?
Disappointed for Drayson. |

Cocker's on a tear, he's the only driver in the 1:23s, the leaders are 1:24s and 1:25s.

First chink in the armor, Yamanishi's put the 68 Lambo down four laps somehow. Must have had a spin off somewhere on track.
EDIT: Now it looks like the 68 Lambo's stopped completely. Out of fuel maybe? Check out that fuel tank on the BMW though! Last car to make a pit stop. Last edited by The359; 31 Oct 2009 at 04:40. |

Well both cars completed one lap so JLOC should count that as a win and the other remaining car is leading GT1.

The #69 that's leading is an ex-Reiter chassis so it's certainly a capable car. The #68 is the Super GT RG-1. EDIT: BMW's come to a stop somewhere on track now |

It was a headlight problem and had to be repaired (by ACO), then both quite, so they brought the car in did a pit stop and changed the nose. Did not fix the problem so they had to find and repair the problem, causing the loss of extra laps.
