There were 15 MG's in the original auction in various levels of condition & completeness... the new auction is a subset of those that werent sold.. a sale is not a sale till the cheque clears after all

Any news on a pilot for #61? Perhaps Mr Fernandez is making a comeback there?

I think it's because his sponsorship deals always fall through at the last minute, he is always being replaced. I feel kinda sad for him actually, he has never had a chance to prove himself.

eMnews reports Aaron McGill as retiring the slightly bent ex Seton AU (to be restored to Seton Ford Credit livery) and replacing it with an ex GRM VY (chassis GRM#5 I guess) sourced from Sydney Star Racing.

I think 61 may not be running at the weekend, I think it still has to venture to the repair shop in QLD for a cage adjustment after the Wakefield crash.
Thats what I have heard. |

Steve Owen is now shown as the driver of the Tint A Car Commodore, with TBA still at the wheel of the second Eggleston entry. What can we expect there?

I hear that testing was good....I know that there was discussion about the previous engines being underpowered. Same engines that the previous driver had.

Dale Wood. Very sharp. He's shown his speed here in F/Ford and looked great today.
Don't be mistaken by seeing his name in the main-game times either guys (on Natsoft at least). P1 was actually Mark Noske in the 51 car, not Dale. |

Mark Noske should be fast in anything. It is sad to see a driver who is more than capable and able to deliver steadfast results get so vastly overlooked.
The other stand-out driver would have to be Drew Russell. They mightn't have the biggest budget, but they do punch well above their (monetary) weight. Drew used to run in Formula Challenge here in NZ at the old Taupo. He is very good at pedaling any vehicle, and he is worthy of a slot. He is young, hungry, and capable. His car doesn't have the biggest horsepower, but he is able to wring his car to its best. Ironic that Noske and Drew should pop up in the same post - great abilities, largely untapped |

i agree JDI Mark seems to come out of the woodwork at enduro time and still manage to pedal the car around with respectable pace despite not racing any other time and he will bring the car home straight and in a respectable position should his co-driver or the car not let him down. same can be said about Nathan Pretty and probably to a bigger extent, he goes well every year when he pops up fron no where, he got a couple of top 10's in the 2nd PWR car in the time he was there, he went well with Todd at Sandown and again with Seto at Bathurst, you don't here his name all day and then come the end of lap 161 he is always there in a good position.
