Sorry, no can do. I need written permission from the Crew Chief to even talk to our own ones - including the one I live with...... Fraternising with other crews would not be acceptable!

Best you pack a portable B-B-Q in the unit, I wouldn't trust the ferret burgers that Brands sell!

I know I've been quiet for a while but I've still been lurking. Wont be camping at Brands now as the Escort has gone and been replaced with a Mondeo and I'm not sure I could kip in that, plus the thought of my warm bed in the evenings is too much to give up.
Has anyone arranged a ten-tennies meet up yet ??? |

News about tickets etc.....
Heard today that no passes have been sent as the tickets are not ready yet!! It might be that we have to meet outside the track to receive them.
Also........ whilst Trevor was away at Long Beach there was a mis-communication and only the personnel required for the CART sessions were sent acceptance letters. Most of the rejection letters were sent in error!! Someone forgot that all the other sessions need the circuit fully manned. |

No wonder Octagon are in trouble, if they can't organise tickets. Can you imagine a line of angry marshals, with caravans etc sitting outside the gates only to be told "sorry you're not on the list", or Sorry we don't have guest passes" and having to turn round and go home. Maybe it would be better if we stayed at home and watch the fertiliser hit the whirly thing. Steve B |
