The original gearbox number is not going to be relevant here, because if it was 605 it was fitted with a VW F3 engine originally and would have had a Hewland FT fitted once a BD series engine was put inside it. If you can find a number stamped on the end plate of the gearbox that might help [if it came from another RT4] Let's look at the SCCA log book. How far back does it go and what are the first few names/events listed in it? Chris |

Chris,
It will take me a couple of days to get the log books in hand. I will let you know how far back and who. I understand about the gear box#. Being a converted car from the VW this may not have a number. No wonder why I could not find it. Thanks for your help. Angelo |
