Not me, I'll be in Canberra for my cousin's wedding.

Though, i'm told there'll be a large TV in a corner of the reception lounge.

Dave, they tended to keep the officials out on the track sort of latish, I helped out with a friends car problem, I had an overseas guest arrive Saturday afternoon and that took a fair amount of time up, I had a new, first time at Bathurst Marshal staying with me and I was feeling my age at the end of a few of the days.....however.....I should have made the effort to come and say hi

Enjoy your Wedding in Canberra, the weather can be beautiful this time of year. Mike has my number if you feel the need to wander out somewheres for a quick drink!!!

BTW please tell me you had a fuel delivery problem and not a simple "not enough in the tank" problem

I will be there for the 24hour, i have already informed the wife that i wont be home for the night, and most of the days as well. I will probably be tyre changing in the 2hr race and then just spectrating for the 24hour.

Mick, no probs re Bathurst. I was too busy/lazy to organise any meet-ups myself.

It's not my wedding in Canberra, it's Mike's son. We arrive late Friday night, wedding saturday, family BBQ at Mike's sunday, depart very early monday. Whistlestop express!

Would you believe Race 1 Bathurst problem was same as last year, steep ascent and heavy weaving prevented pump from picking up fuel in tank. We resolved it by cleaning out the breather vent and running a full tank. No probs in Races 2 & 3.

Yeah, all I need to do now is find a way of getting there, and a place to pitch tent/roll up in a corner

I couldn't make it to the 1000, and staying in a van in Canberra probably won't be much good to me!

Hey Dave, I didn't mean YOUR wedding, I really did mean to say enjoy you're wedding.

Is Australian your first language??

Hope you work out a fix for that fuel pick up problem, still saves on tyres and engine rebuilds I suppose !

Crash, I meant we could have organised a lift for you to get to the 1000 and sleep in our van in the pits.

Mick, we're going to try raising the tank and lowering the pump & filter.
