Is anyone going to be about Saturday afternoon and evening?

We are staying with mates who are coming both days so no rush to get away this time on qualifying day.

Someone mention camping and alcohol, now there's a good idea. Not sure if I'll be camping at Oulton but I'll be there for both days for sure.

Spoonerboro, you've got to make it to Oulton. It's not that much of a drive, no more than Chester to Thruxton and should only take about 3-3 1/2 hours.

Who's up for a track and paddock walkabout again then?

Some of us are planning to be at Donington on the Saturday - could probably be tempted to head to Oulton in the evening though

And what exactly is the Octogan Motorsport Parade?
Look at that, the pickups are last, we can head to the bar while they're on - boring things.

A double header Clio meeting ? Ooooh... mucho readies for Renault methinks...

Pickups can be good, but John has invited us over for a drink once the BTCC race is over - might be a good time to pop by ? Guess it depends what time he finishes with the team, officials and sponsors...

But then again, the racing might only just be finishing at the curfew. Things are going to get late when the BTCC Sprint starts a good half hour late once they've cleared up the usual Clio carnage - add to that more Clio carnage in the afternoon
Think I've only seen the Pickups at Donington (either that or I was asleep if they put in an appearance anywhere else last year) and it has to be said, at Donington they were dull.

At a guess the parade will be the Porsche/Lotus/etc supercar experience and the other race school cars.

will bring my usual trunk with kithcen style goodies if you want!!

but what do we all want to eat

if we say make wednesday nite the cut off as to what everyone wants and then people can volunteer to bring whatever!!

does that sound fair or do people just want to bring there own stuff!!

Trying to get us organised ? You realy don't know us that well yet do you.

Think we did about right at Thx, especially as we managed breakfast as well. Might be worth bringing some extra as it looks like we might be having a few guests

We did have too much food last time. I was eating it for the sheer hell of it.

BTW, Spooner - was the pot and frying pan scarred for life after my cooking?

I will bring some more chicken as people said they liked that last time. I will also bring some pasta for those that don't want to eat burgers and sausages all weekend. I will also bring some munchies (crisps, biscuits, etc).

Who is bringing sausages and burgers and bacon and bread rolls?
