Anyone else bothered by how many cars are cutting the last chicane ?

I've always wondered... why are the cars allowed to cut the track at the Ford Chicanes? Many of them are with all four wheels outside the white line, which is basically corner-cutting, isn't it? I think you can gain quite a lot of time there + plus you have better corner exit speed onto the main straight... I think there should be some exactly defined track limit.

Both are hovering around the 3:30 mark. I know they aren't 5 secs slower than Audi. Wonder if theyre pacing themselves.

The Viper is very fast in a straight line, earlier there was an onboard with the Corvette and the Viper easily got past on the straight between first and second chicane. Then on the way out of the second chicane it pulled away from the Corvette by 3-5 car lengths with the Corvette in the slipstream!

That'll be Tracy Krohn having a nice word with AF Corse later on tonight then...

That's awesome to hear; they've put some serious work into that Viper. For me, it's the dark horse of the GTE class for the race.

It runs on the Eurosport Player for me, but it's on the British Eurosport 2 now too... there are multiple streams of it (dunno if I can post a link here)... just google "vipbox" or "mypremium tv".
