Last year ITV followed Sato the whole time, it was so dull, the only on-board action was Sato, Sato, Sato more Sato - kill me now...

Please remember that ITV like BBC before them, take the host nations feed, and therefore have no control over who is shown during the race.

jetsetter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
As Stephen said the telecast isn't controlled by ITV but the host broadcaster from that country which is why at various G.P.'s we get to watch a driver down the back lap after lap, unfortunately if Sato gets a drive for Suzuka the Japenese director will probably make sure we get plenty of footage of Sato's BAR.

Maybe even Sato isn't sure, or perhaps one site has interprited his his comments that as will/wont be racing and supporting it by cutting out parts of a statement.

What happens when Ferrari is in Italy or Renault in France? In fact the only time I see close to parity in coverage is in the USGP. Ofcourse Sato would get more coverage than usual but I doubt they would cut away from a battle for the title to show him.

Heaven forbid that a team besides the front runners ever show up on camera. It may cause the downfall of F1 or something.
