Has race 3 been delayed? Motors is still showing ALMS, and 'POS' is being shown as the Session Length on the MST live timing board.

Ignore that - the race is running, will have to wait for Herbert to win the ALMS race first before we see it on TV.

Just spoilt myself to a crash though

It's infuriating.

They'd have had time to show the BTCC live, then go back for the end of the LMES race

Lap behinds aren't true...

Muller was out with oil problem before race started
Thompson was knocked down to 7th by Reid
Neal was knocked down to 8th by Reid
Chilton just passed everyone when they forgot he was there, good race *for him*
Bye bye Reidy - take an involuntary race off and see you in Mondello.

Nope no rain, Chilton didn't finish 1 lap ahead either, only 1 second odd.

Muller's engine deposited all it's oil on the track on the green flag lap, putting him out of the race instantly. Thommo got a good start, but so did Reid...whom pulled, in the words of Tim Harvey, a 'controversial' move on Thommo at Priory, nudging him out the way and taking the lead.

From then on in, James seemed to have a problem, dropping back although he regained ground towards the end, but at the front Reid lead from Neal and Chilton. Neal closed up on the MG, (I suspect Reid made a mistake..) and both Neal and Reid lept onto the grass on the run up to Farm, gifting the win to Chilton. Neal did show his appreciation to Reid on the slowing down lap, giving him a nice wee barge between Abbey and Bridge..

In all honesty it was a very rough race in my opinion...one gives it out so the other driver gives it back but who can blame them.

I think Reid's moves have been called into question two many times today - and after Brands, he needs a talking to.

His move on Neal was not actually out of order, just Neal gets wound up easy - but Reid's been using the 'nudge' too many times to his advantage today.

I know it makes the races more exciting - as long as your favourite driver isn't the one he pushes off I guess.

He's probably Huff's idol

On an unrelated note - hopefully with this post I've acheived my weekends goal of becoming a 'racer'. That one star was starting to give me an inferiority complex. I'll shut up more from now on

Talking of Chilton, didn't see any bent panels on his car alll day Funny.. As Harvey said (I know I keep referring to him but he does speak some sense) patience does certainly pay off and it did today..

We were at Abbey and had to wonder how that was going to carry on once they went out of our sight.

Overall, it's been a good day, but shame about Muller in the third race.

Well done to Chilton. He deserved that win, kept his head and was quick in that one! At least it was a proper win, unlike Luke Hines' at Brands!!

Yes a good day today, 3 cracking races, 3 different winner what more can you ask for. Shame about Muller in race 3, more of the same at Oulton Park in 2 weeks time please.

I don't think Anthony did anything bad today. In fact, I'd claim his only dodgy move this year was in punting off Shaun Watson-Smith at Brands.

Banging into cars on the slowing-down lap, or in the pitlane, is completely unprofessional, and anyone doing this should be severely dealt with. It's just as bad as Muller and his fists!

Chilton was mighty.

3 cars looked fast and settled through bridge.

Muller (as ever)
Thompson (better than usual)

..and Tom Chilton.

Saw the same ballsy car attitude on the first corner at Thruxton.

His first win of many.

Plato, you mop haired big-mouth, eat humble pie....

Well! What an amazing day! Thats all I can say! Constant action, which was very close too! One of the most enjoyable sundays I've had in ages, I would usually walk around a circuit to get the action from different places, I started at Abbey and didn't move the whole day, the action was fantastic down there, so close and exciting, little nudges but not too much, and cars out braking themselves!

As I didn't have time last night I've now uploaded my images from the day this morning, you can see them here

Oulton Park next, I wonder; how can Oulton get any better from what we saw yesterday?
