Can a driving style cause mechanical failures nowadays?

Drivers can still cause unnecessary car failures, but just blaming the driver (which many appear to be doing) is, of course, the easiest option.

The whole package is vital for a car to be quick and reliable. Driver has to be fast but also mechanically sympathetic, but the car and engine should be designed in such a way that it to is fast but is built to last an entire GP distance, and should be designed to handle almost anything.

That's the dampers job mr v.....Fast damping will make it rebound back without affecting other areas.
