Drivers can still cause unnecessary car failures, but just blaming the driver (which many appear to be doing) is, of course, the easiest option.
The whole package is vital for a car to be quick and reliable. Driver has to be fast but also mechanically sympathetic, but the car and engine should be designed in such a way that it to is fast but is built to last an entire GP distance, and should be designed to handle almost anything. |
