have to agree, seems mad to have that calibre of car and drivers over and not to advertise it and try attract a lot more people to spectate. Who's responsible for this tho, Mondello or CMC???

Slightly off topic, but has anyone seen anything to promote Irelands WRC round, it's only a few weeks away.

Seems a bit strange, Anne has no car (sold to George) and Pauwels has already sold 1 Fabia (Coox) and rumor has it that the second is also about to be sold. But he can bring the Focus over...

Maybe, but George has lots of sweets he can share around with all his friends

I was in Mondello today, and i see that Rallycross 3 (Tunnel ) is no longer been used as a safety issue so its tarmac from RX 2 all the way to the First corner!! Not much loose anymore.

Oh, who was saying that? I'm sure that if they do cut out RX3 they would have to have permission from the MI steward for the meeting or apply for a new track license for the configuration change.

Strange, I've never had a problem getting the rescue unit through there, even at high speed, and the ambulances don't have an issue. Unless of course they are talking about the PDC I suppose, as with RX they need to use either track access or the vehicle gate at the bottom of "Turn 7".

I too was in mondello and eddie was flying. on the track changes with doing away of rx3 (the tunnel) i am personally glad to see it gone. as it is a car breaker and there is v. rarely overtaking on that section. spectators cannot see so with changes it will allow more overtaking and better viewing for all. the only down side is that there is less loose. but this could lead to another change in track layout at a later date. from safety point of view less cars broken in the tunnel less time out for rescue crews so better for all at end of day. will have to wait and see if anything in the regs or at drivers brief on the day. if there is changes would imagine clubs already have things under control.
