Col
Three months ain't that bad - I waited four and a bit! The after market tuning guys are really into this now too. For about 1500 dollars you can get an increase from 190ish rear wheel kilowatts to 230 rwkws. Not bad economically. |

And with less weight over the front wheels and better fuel economy. But it's not a V8 is it...

After the crashed we had in the Tribute we looked at getting a family sized car and the Purple Ford XR6 looked the go but went back to Mazda and ordered a Yellow lux pac RX8....as we don't need a family car now..
but have the turbo diesel Bravo Freestyle 4x4 ute (with matching suicide doors) do the muddy weekends.. |

I saw a Nissan Cedric once. Admittedly it was rather old, but it was a very silly car - particularly for the UK. Large square limo-like saloon with all the right extras, front wheel drive and the 2.5 twin turbo out of the Skyline!

The guy two houses away has a SV8 and loves it. I think the Turbo is the better car. But, I understand your problem with the wait.

SV8 gets you the same engine as the SS for about $10 000 less and with the spare money you can buy some engine oil in bulk to keep you going for a few months but seriously, I'd have an SV8 if I had the money. SS has more street cred but in the performance stakes there'd be no difference.

Well it was $2500 less tham the XR6, so I spent an extra $1000 and it is now optioned up to SS level. All with fleet discount about the only perk that comes from my job
