Any side events I shouldn't miss?
-Chris[/quote] Don't worry about the V8's - too quiet, no racing Don't worry about the V8 utes - no passing, drivers being too considerate of others Don't worry about the Aussie racers - tip toeing around with more for show than anything. Don't bring a hat or sunscreen - weather will be shocking Don't let your missus worry - not a pretty half dressed girl to see Don't worry about your liver - not a beer in the place. Don't worry about The air force dump and burn - a match is brighter Don't worry about the parties - everyone in bed by 9:00p.m. I will take the tongue out of my cheek now!!! |

Would it be ungrateful of me to decline the nonrefundable return flight? I'll let you all know how it goes...

Yeah, but that's well away from the track. The track is a lot closer to the seaway entrance, so chances are, there'd be more sharks closer to the track ps: I used to manage a resort in Surfers Paradise that backed on to a canal, a good rule of thumb is that if the water tastes salty, there's sharks in it. All the good resorts have swimming pools anyway, so why bother with the canals. |

Funny thing with surfers paradise is that the surfing sucks!
I've spent a week in surfers. Don't like it myself. Too resorty, too built up. I like it up on the sunshine coast better or further south near the big banana, more my speed. BUT surfers is the best place to have a race of this stature and hopefully I'll get to go someday. |

Nothing wrong with disliking Gore, but we should support Power, Tagliani and Walker.

Gore keeps harping on aboot the no money from Ford BS, maybe his constant childish acts are the cause of not getting any help from Ford. If you were Ford would give him money ? |

Thanks Gaz, I understand now, maybe a score board would be appropriate: SHARKS 13 SURFERS 0

Andreas Wirth in for Juan Caceres (I think so Caceres can keep rookie status for a full time ride in 2007)
