Shame Ingall had that drive-through, that was a fantastic drive. Might have gotten to the top step!

Suggesting that he wants to take the blokes over to meet the crowd who were likely to '...kick the sh*t out of them...' Isnt likely to win friends in high places BTSID Mr Ingall. $10,000 please ! No doubting 3rd was his.. Would have been great for the category... Could have been handled in a post race penalty... Odd Go Russell... Gives hope to pensioners everywhere!! |

See i though it needed to happen during the race, Dont want people getting podiums because they have taken people out in an obvious manner
Matters less if they are not spraying champagne so we can do that after the race Some of the big names struggling towards the end. Triple 8 and HRT |

Is it a coincidence that the cars Mr Ingall had contact with are regular visitors to the scenery in accidemt damage or mechanical failure?

WELL deserved victory for everyone at Erebus. Lee drove smart and didn't force the issue too much. Really clean race too compared to the first one.

I don't have a problem with it. I like it. Short and sharp. That's the new art form of qualy. I think the nature of the track surface at Winton is playing a factor in the mixed up grid this weekend though. Different winners and different people on the podium has to be good, doesn't it??? Better then seeing T888 dominate. |

But 10 minutes is plenty of time at most of the tracks. |

There is no equality in the penalties. Courtney pushed somebody wide and made a pass. Mostert caused the major incident of the first race - NO penalties.
Everybody else seemed to know Russel had better tyres and was 2 seconds a lap faster. I would of given Dale a drive through for being stupid. |

Either way I think 10 or 12 minutes is long enough and still an art form to get the best out of the allocated time. |

Wasn't the bloke racing for position? Or was he being lapped by Russell?

Not sure what incident your referring to in-relation to Dale????
From what I saw today (race 7) he ran in the top 4 pretty clean and deserved his 3rd position on merit. AS GTR said, I think people are getting DALE WOOD confused with DAVID WALL. Wall was racing for position with Rusty so although, yes Rusty had better tyre life and thus better pace, he didn't automatically have to just "let" Rusty through. If Rusty used his aging head and waited till the end of the straight, i am sure he would have got passed without incident and gone on to claim the podium position. Maybe old age is catching up with his judgement?? |

Ingall deserved the penalty that he got but it is fair to say that there were a number of other incidents in that race that need to be reviewed.

It takes two to make a clean pass.
If drivers are going to keep turning in on a car that's down the inside of them, then contact is inevitable. |
