There was no question of the car arriving in the PCR truck, the question was around the availability of poweplants.

Turned into the gravel trap corner and lost the rear end. Bacwards into the tyres. More cosmetic than anything, he will be ok tomorrow.

Some notables names in the bottom half of the field. Qualifying should be interesting.

They actually look ok in the flesh AP. It is only a sticker over the top of the red so it comes off easy.

Today has dawned its usual fine and sunny self after one of the coolest nights of the year. Todays maximum forecast to be 30degrees with little or no humidity changed from the last couple of days. The fastest laps of quite a few yesterday were their first 3 or 4 straight out of the truck. Some then successfully tuned themselves to a standstill.

Big questions for today, can the rocketships from "Sprint Gas" find that promised "1 sec a lap" and blast up the grid , Wow fancy McConky being that far down , can the Giz make a set of tyres live in the heat of Darwin, will Jamie Whincup ever take a line that doesn't knock lumps out of the kerb at the gravel trap .

There are some ominous signs for the rest of the championship. Personally I don't like seeing the first 2 cars 14 seconds in front of the field.
