Hearing Johnny O in the commentary booth brought back great memories from the ALMS days.

The official site says that if you missed a live race, go to the Motor Trend site. But there's nothing posted there even from the previous weekend, or am I just not finding it correctly?

The races can't be shown online until after they are on regular TV.

From my (brief) experience of the streaming last week, MotorTrendOnDemand was more stable than the official site.

Let's hope that no more than a couple of laps are lost to yellow...

Missed COTA, but the start has been good in St.Pete. Stream has failed for me though at the 41 min. mark, so that's it for me today.

What a race for Micheal Lewis, complete domination!
Plus Pat Longs drive through the field was epic.
Fantastic, caution free 50 minutes of hard fought racing, World Challenge racing at its best!

Fantastic race victory for Michael Lewis and EFFORT Racing!
And a brilliant drive through the field by Pat Long.
EFFORT Racing has really responded to the adversity of COTA Race 2.

Great stuff from KPAX/Lizards and Cadillac too. Impressive top five from Austin Cindric.

I am having trouble figuring out the scroll data on the stream - the order etc. is fine but the time behind leader baffles me as the overall leader is always some seconds behind the leader. That is only possible in the lower classes of a multi class race.

Pretty sure that's just a glitch. If you're looking for better timing, the new T&S on the PWC site is pretty good, it even has sector times. http://worldchallenge.growsites.net/

Pretty good GTS Race 2. Nice job by Roush Jr. taking the double win.

Yes, good racing and due to the SC incidents quite close all the way to the flag. The Maserati guys need to find some speed. They were lagging the front runners by half a second per lap.

Long running glitch - it was the same last weekend. Yes - live t&s is very good but a proper scroll would save page flipping.

OTOH the stream is running much better.

Slight delay on the start due to the IndyCar race running long. 3:30 ET the current start time listed.

That looked like a bad impact. Is the driver still in the car?

Yes, he is still in the car. I´m not a safety expert but it took a long time to me until the safety crew went to the car.

Missed the race so far, just seen the remnants of Fergus' impact (yikes!). Did he just go straight in?

Edit - Well this has been a forgettable weekend for K-Pax.

Well that all got pretty messy in a hurry after we finally got back to green. Glad I didn't plan my evening around this one...

Edit: we have a 650S with 2 working front wheels and borked/non-existent back ones, so we run a strap through the working wheels to lift, and then drag it along? Seems backwards...

Interesting that the PWC race is AFTER the Indycar race. I hope most people at the track stayed. They should. Would be dumb if they left. You can make a case that the PWC is a bigger deal than the Indycar race in many ways. If I was in florida I would certainly buy a ticket for this event for the PWC cars. Indycar would be a secondary thing for me.
