On the same sort of subject, when you receive an email from someone that has a half decent job, and the email is all in lower case and no punctuation.
Is that how they write to their customers?

I've rescued several misplaced apostrophes and I'm fostering a large number of homophones if anyone would like to offer them a permanent home

Would it be worth having a punctuation amnesty for the first week of 2012. Perhaps many forum users have a significant amount of commas, capital letters etc. that haven't been used for a while and they could be handed in to ten-tenths towers. Then the good mod's could then donate them to users who may be in greater need of such punctuation and may be able to put them to good use in the coming months.

Bring on training in 6 weeks time and then race meetings in about another 5 weeks (Masters at OP hopefully) when we can get back to the usual moans and groans on here; where are my tickets?; where is my lunch break and where is my sanity in standing out in the rain and wind for 10 hours at the weekend.

Unfortunately the above will all be lost on those who need them the most.

I've found a hoard of y's & o's which appear to have fallen off the word "you"; free to a good home.

A misplaced punctuation mark I can deal with, but what really get's my goat (Other Farmyard Animals Are Available) is the increasing amount of people who cannot use the words "Too, To, Their, There, They're, Your, You're" in the proper context!

Another favourite is the word "Has." I notice on Facebook the increasing amount of people who write things like "X As Got A Headache" - where did these people go to School?

Stay behind after class. My traffic controller uses "as" instead of "has" along with lots of other spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes and she wonders why she keeps being passed over for promotion.

A few of these may be useful to break long rambling posts into more easily digestible chunks ("paragraphs" as they are known in the trade):

Only just worked it out

Then again, hated the music of the 80s, so I probably wiped it from my mind.
