Tim Neill should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Thanks Richard, that would be appreciated. Essex would be fine. Just name some dates.

Thank you, Richard, that's very kind. I would be interested, depending on when and where in Esssex it will be. I work in East Bedfordshire, so could get across to Essex after work, depending on how far "over the border" the course will be.

I will talk to Silverstone and see if we can run a joint mid week session one evening before the end of the season for the FMOS module

Thanks Chris - although something also in the South East would be practical for us Sussex/Kent marshals. How about Brands Hatch?

First aid etc.

I can remember taking instruction from the Rescue crew and race doctors during the training sessions at Oulton. Basic A.B.C. resuss, cardiac massage, how to remove a helmet if required, how to maintain an airway with the helmet on etc. These seem to have gone by the board and the inference was that with the rescue team being close at hand, they would be able to cover this. I can't recall getting it signed off as an individual element but it was included in the basic track marshal course. it was not on the agenda for the Flag or Post chief sessions.

Hi Folks,
We are planning on running Heartstart courses at Donnington on the weekend of 23/24 November.
The course covers: CPR, Primary Survey, Recovery position, Chest Pain, Choking, bleeding, minor burns and basic fracture info. All the team are marshals and rescue crew.
The current plan is to run a Heartstart course on Saturday afternoon from 12:30-16:30. This will also include the MSA First Marshal on Scene module at the end of it.
Great news, it lives. We just need it held in the South!
