Every driver slowed down. Every driver avoided the tyre.
Some drivers were on lines that avoided the tyre. Some drivers had to swerve at the last moment.

Yet for some reason, you have to point out one driver in particular?
If that doesn't sound like an agenda, then I'm not sure what is.

If the Alfa is ready, it might run.
Motorbase are not obliged to field a car though, because it's only a loan.

I bet that you (or I) couldn't get close to the time that Nic Hamilton has done despite all of this. Instead of being negative, just look at what the guy has achieved.
Absolutely. I'm pretty sure he'd leave me for dead if I had a race with him. Considering what life has thrown at him the boy has done good. Damn good.

Stop being a cock. Stats don't tell the full story of anything, you keyboard warrior. Once you get outside and have a taste of the real world and understand what it's like to know a disabled person, maybe you'll change your opinion.

Disabled or not he's put himself into the championship to compete and should be judged on his merits. I'm physically disabled as well and have competed at a much much lower level myself. He's no different than any of the other wealthy amateurs where talent comes second to financing in order to be on the grid.

Bushell is in the AMD car for Silverstone.

Are we certain the 3rd Motorbase car will make an appearance? Or will the TBL transfer back to a certain Mr Austin and we see an Alfa for the final 2 races? Is that allowed?

"However, those sponsorship complications have now resulted in Hamilton being forced to vacate his Ford Focus for the final two rounds, with the team set to name a replacement driver in the coming days."

Alex Zanardi was an able bodied highly skilled racing driver. A guy who made other excellent racers in single seats in the States look pedestrian. He lost his legs in a terrible accident. And in time recovered and drove adapted race cars. Later becoming an excellent Paralympian cyclist.

Likening Alex to Nic is comparing apples with oranges. Nic is a young man who has grown up with disabilities and who hero worships his big brother race driver. A disabled kid chasing a dream to follow in big bros footsteps.

Don't dream it. Be it.

The circumstances are not ideal, its a shame Nick won't see out the season, but it would be good if a young driver could get the spare Focus seat for Silverstone.

And the same people will moan when a virtual unknown who has managed to get the funding together is announced as they 'don't deserve it'.

Not if she can't afford a Clio seat! Regardless of gender she is not yet on the BTCC level.

James Cole is one thought that came to my head. Knows the team well, no programme this year, and if he still has Ticketmaster sponsorship budget shouldn't be an issue.

Ant Whorton-Eales also tested with the team (though years ago now) and I can't recall him having much on this year. Now BritishGT has finished Aron Taylor-Smith is another ex-Motorbase driver who may fit the bill (would be cool to see any top BGT driver have a few rounds in the BTCC!) or Tom Onslow-Cole who expressed interest quite recently!

Of course as always I'll be way off the mark and it'll be Martin Depper or someone 😂

I’m sure he’s still related to his budget-paying Dad.

Shame no Nic Hamilton, would have been good to see him race at Silverstone this weekend. Ah well, I'll have a good weekend up at the Northamptonshire airfield anyway.

No Tordoff either, but with his circumstances, it's probably for the best

One thing in Cammish's favour is that he has a strong teammate who has confirmed this evening that he has assumed the wingman role for the last two meetings.

We might see the BMWs taking points off each other, whereas the TD garage have both cars concentrating on one driver's results?
