I'm not sure how "fully repaired" the #7 is if it is still missing its half it's right-hand side panel.

Mazda Joest are shockingly slow on pitstops, its really appalling given their pedigree.

Jeroen, you can just tell IMSA that you don't want to race with LMP2s anymore. You don't have to punt them off the track yourself...

The Mazdas are running very very well. Montoya made another odd mistake. Would the Nissan strategy pay off at the end?

Forget rain dances. I'm doing my green dance for a full green flag race today.

Owen went into the 1.13 finally. The Cadillacs doesn't look particularly fast in this track.

If the #77 is still leading in 98 miuntes' time, I might be confident enough to say that they're in with a chance of victory.

So far GT races shaping up to this #4 Corvette vs #92 Porsche and #86 Acura vs #14 Lexus. Great job by these teams to build the gaps over the rest of the grid. Hopefully a safety car does not ruin their hard earned efforts.

The Mazda time lost was all cold tyres. It's taking 2 laps for tyres to come up to temp. That's why the Mazda was 4 seconds faster when the Acura came out the pits.
Pitting early is a disadvantage today. Edit: The 6 and 77 pitted before the 55. Both have lost ~7 seconds to it. |

Bamber has not made of a gain on Garcia as of late though.

Seems optimistic to get over an hour out of the GTLM class on fuel.

That was the last pit stop for the Nissan?
Bomarito doesn't look to be fast today. He made an incredible good start at Long Beach. |

Mazda looks undrivable on cold tyres. Lost 2 seconds in the stop, then a further 3 on the outlap.

That was poor. Surprising for Braun.

It have to be very difficult for the team to do all the race with Braun and a few laps with Bennett. The FCY should have been to help them on the strategy, but they caused it.
EDIT: It looks like the front left suspension of the Nissan is bend or broken. The question is if it was before or after the crash. |

It might not have been Braun's fault, if he suffered the apparent suspension damage before going off.
