Crash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridCrash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
The only restrictions they have put on the place is noise... a lot of cars don't have a problem, and the rest just need mufflers. Back in the days of Amaroo Park if you had a loud car, you had to put a muffler on it.... so it's nothing new, and if you want to race you will do it!

The only other issue is the limited entry- five groups of 20. For noise and garaging reasons.

You don't get many fields bigger than 20 cars at Morgan Park these days, Group Ns aside.

As far as awesome layouts go, Lakeside is well up there with the very very best of them... and apparently there are no bumps now. Lakeside's back baby!

...but can't wait for Morgan Park to be extended, I hope they get cracking soon, there's some big meetings coming to town!

To many QLd's think that Lakeside will return to the old days, sorry folks it want happen. Yes it is a awsome circuit, but it is to resticted by neighbours, fast cars etc.

Morgan Park is the place to go if you want modern racing and speeed, as for the "u" turn lay out of QR , well the promise of improvements is to come. Each year we hear of plans to extend, that has been for the last ten years.

Maybe one day
In a vague attempt at QR's defence, extension plans were put on hold when the had a sudden business expansion elsewhere that required extensive refurbishment, they're the folks running Lakeside.
